Joshua West is a smart home technology enthusiast, content creator, and the founding member of the Smart Home Team. At Smart Homes of Today & Tomorrow (SHO(t)²), he has harnessed his passion for Smart technology and unleashed his creative energy into creating content to educate the public about how technology can benefit them through elevated quality of life, state and government incentives, reduced energy cost and much more with a goal to accelerate smart technology acception and adoption. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Norfolk State University, with concentrations in Business Marketing and Mass Communications. His educational background provides a unique blend of communication, marketing, and technology-focused problem-solving that supports his passion for educating others about emerging smart home innovations.

For the past six years, Joshua has been developing and expanding his own smart home ecosystem, gaining hands-on experience with connected devices, home automation, smart security, energy management, entertainment technology, and voice-controlled environments. What began as a personal interest has grown into a commitment to helping others understand how technology can improve daily life.
